Chairperson.

We require a Chairperson for our Board of Trustees to oversee and facilitate charity operations and meetings, to work collaboratively with other volunteers and trustees, provide leadership and direction to achieve our goals and represent the charity in the community and at events.

 

Specific Skills Required

• Strong Leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to the values and objectives of our charity.
• Experience in community work, charities or management (this is desirable, not essential).
• Enthusiasm.
• Reliability.
• Genuine desire to help others.

Attendance at Board Meetings held every 6 weeks on a Sunday for approximately 2 hours, regular meetings with the Office Team to discuss agendas prior to meetings and any other times needed to fulfil duties of the role effectively.
