Volunteer Youth Worker
Hindley Green Junior Volunteers Club is a free youth club for children aged 6-16 years. We provide a range of free activities, host community events and work with other groups and volunteers. Our mantra is to develop community minded young people to become community minded adults of the future. We do this using fun all inclusive approaches. You will be part of a small team of volunteers working with the children on crafts, gardening, cooking, sports & games, educational activities and more.
We provide a range of essential and beneficial online training courses to support you in your role.
DBS clearance is required (we can do this for free).
Specific Skills Required
- Previous experience of working with children is helpful but not essential.
- Training and ongoing support provided.
- Car user advantage but not essential.

Every Thursdays 5.45pm to 8.00pm. at St Johns Church Hall, Atherton Road, Hindley Green.
Occasional off site sessions.
Also, occasional weekends and school holiday sessions optional.
