Form Filling Support Volunteer
Support unpaid carers by helping them complete important paperwork such as benefit forms. Signpost carers to other advice services.
This role is perfect for someone who is patient, detail-oriented, and confident using computers.
Specific Skills Required
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills along with good computer literacy skills and competence to complete applications online.
- Experience of the benefits-related environment preferable.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Support carers face to face.
- Ability to organise work and use initiative.
- Ability to keep up to date with changes to the benefit entitlements and availability,
