Role and Opportunity Details  (to apply for this role you must be 18+)

This volunteer role will work to support Groundwork staff to deliver team based programmes ran by Groundwork CLM.  Our programme aims to help people to raise aspirations and develop resilience to improve their personal development.

Responsibilities include

• Supporting people with their literacy, language, numeracy, and digital skills as needed.
• Help to deliver sessions and review progress of learners.
• Provide mentoring to participants to help them achieve their goals.
• Support Team Leader with preparation of resources for sessions

 

Specific Skills Required

• Ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Experience in working with others to support to achieve goals.
• Commitment to safeguarding.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work both effectively as part of a team, and during self-directed project work.
