Role and Opportunity Details (to apply for this role you must be 18+)

WomanLeigh CIC is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic women to support our mission through IT, website, and digital support.

We’re building a safe, inclusive space where women can access unbiased peer support and advocacy—and your behind-the-scenes help is essential to making that happen.

We’re looking for volunteers who can assist with:

• Updating and maintaining our website.
• Providing basic tech support or troubleshooting for our team.
• Managing digital tools like online forms, databases, or email systems.

This role is flexible and can be shaped around your skills and availability.

If you can spare a few hours each week and want to use your tech skills to help your local community, we’d love to hear from you.

 

Specific Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of website platforms (we currently use WordPress).
• Ability to update content, post blogs, and manage basic website layout.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals (a bonus, not essential).
• Familiarity with common digital tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Discord).
• Ability to troubleshoot minor tech issues (e.g. login problems, formatting documents).
• Comfortable using cloud storage platforms (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox).
• Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
• A genuine interest in and alignment with WomanLeigh’s mission and values.
