Volunteer Visitor/Tour Guide.

What is a Visitor/Tour Guide?

A Visitor/Tour Guide has a vital part to play in bringing the Museum to life. Inspiring our visitors and helping them learn more about the Museum in an interesting and enjoyable way.

What’s involved?

• Providing our visitors with a warm and friendly welcome.
• Have a basic knowledge of the Museum’s history (full training will be given).
• Help visitors to discover more by answering questions.
• Accompany visitors to various areas of the site.
• Help to create children’s quizzes and trails.

 

Specific Skills Required

• Enthusiastic.
• Enjoy meeting people.
• Good communication skills.
• Friendly open manner.
