Role and Opportunity Details (to apply for this role you must be 18+)

We are looking for a volunteer to help run a Domestic violence community group this will include opening and closing of our shop (The Home of Safe Haven).

Also a volunteer to help run support groups to victims who have left relationships and are looking to move forward with their lives, preferably someone who has an interest in putting a stop to domestic violence.

If you can drive you can also be helping out with the collection of donations for our shop which is based in the heart of Ashton-in-Makerfield.

Very rewarding volunteer opportunity to make a huge difference in people’s lives and also gain knowledge whilst helping others.


Specific Skills Required

  • Good communication skills.
  • Empathetic.
  • Have an interest in helping women leaving DV.
  • Good people skills.
