Role and Opportunity Details (to apply for this role you must be 14+)

Volunteer Netball coach

We are looking for volunteers to join us as we build our club in the Wigan area.

We train at Leigh Sports Village 5-10pm on Monday evenings with a variety of age groups (from 5-19) and abilities.

As a coach, you will support the delivery of sessions with a Head coach including the delivery of warm ups, supporting progression in individuals and overseeing match play.

Ideal for someone wanting to become a PE teacher/coach or someone who just wants to enjoy volunteering within sport.

Any time given is brilliant.

 

Specific Skills Required

• Good listening skills.
• A want to learn.
• Knowledge of the sport is an advantage.
• Ambition to want to be a qualified coach.

 

Benefits of Volunteering with this organisation

We will mentor any volunteer coaches, supporting them with kit, training courses and information sharing.

Many of the current volunteers work in sport also and can offer career advice if needed.
