Hospice In Your Home Companion Volunteers

About the role –

We are looking to appoint a number of volunteers to support our Hospice In Your Home team to visit patients in their own homes.  We have a high demand for chaperones for our male patients at the moment.

As a Hospice In Your Home volunteer you will provide breaks for carers, and companionship as well as practical and emotional support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families at their homes.

The role requires caring, empathetic and compassionate individuals who ensure confidentiality, respect and dignity whilst being an excellent listener.

You must be able to travel independently for this role also.


Specific Skills Required

Full driving Licence & own transport.
