Nature conservation on our Wigan reserves
We are looking for people to help us maintain the ideal environment for Wigan’s wildlife, on nature reserves at Wigan Flashes, Kirkless, and Lightshaw Meadow.
This is a varied, practical role which involves being outdoors in all weathers! Old clothing and sturdy boots required.
Spring/Summer jobs include wildlife surveying and making habitat improvements.
Autumn/Winter jobs include – tree planting and vegetation removal.
Specific Skills Required
Training is given for practical tasks but the ability to work outdoors in all weathers is a must.
