Role and Opportunity Details (to apply for this role you must be 18+)
Assistant Coordinator
Over 50s Friendship Club – A group of 30+ ladies and gentlemen aged 50-95 years.
The role is to assist the group Coordinator and provide cover as needed.
Dutues include:-
- Promoting the group
- Setting up the venue on a weekly basis
- Welcoming existing and new members
- Maintaining member records
- Selling raffle and bingo tickets
- Calling bingo games
- Preparing refreshments
- Tidying up
- Helping with excursions, etc.
Specific Skills Required
- Enjoy working with older people.
- A confident, outgoing manner.
- Good organisational skills.
- Basic first aid skills helpful.
- Own transport helpful.
- Enhanced DBS will be required.
