Role and Opportunity Details

Wardour Street Community Allotments C.I.C have been established for 18 months.  We are working together to restore and improve the land on Wardour Street Allotments and bring it back into community use.

We meet every Sunday morning 10am-12pm to work on the site.

No commitment is required, just enthusiasm and a desire to see this plot of land restored and improved.  We hope to generate some community spirit and friendships in the process.

It is a mix of gardening and clearing.  Sturdy footwear and gloves are recommended and equipment is provided.

Benefits of Volunteering with this organisation

You will be welcomed into a friendly enthusiastic group who want to make a difference to their local community.

We are in the early stages of clearing the site with a desire to see the allotments restored for community use.

You don’t have to want an allotment to become involved, however, if you are interested you may want to help us shape the sites future as we progress on our journey.
