School governors. Could you be a school governor? Do you want to give something back to the community? Are you open to new ideas and ready to learn? Do you have time to spend a couple of hours a month to go to meetings and read documents and reports? Are you motivated and interested in education? Would you like to make a positive impact on the education of thousands of children and work towards better schools and communities? If the answer is yes to any of these and you have enthusiasm and commitment then you could be a school governor. If you are appointed as a governor there is an expectation that you will attend induction training.
